ResilientYOU has joined forces with Utah’s #1 News Station and CBS affiliate KUTV Channel 2 to present the Governor Declared “Resilient Utah Month” in May that includes the following:
Education Tribute Awards
The ResilientYOU Education Tribute Award is a prestigious honor presented annually to select schools, individuals and organizations that have shown exemplary efforts in building resilience. Nominations for the Education Tribute Awards will be gathered during “Resilient Utah Month”.
The 2024 Education Tribute Awards will be
presented in the following categories:
- Exemplary High School
- Exemplary Middle School
- Exemplary Elementary School
- Exemplary Administrator
- Exemplary Secondary School Teacher
- Exemplary Elementary School Teacher
- Exemplary Wellness Professional
- Exemplary Parent Organization
- Outstanding Community Organization
Awards will be announced at each individual school, on KUTV Channel 2, on Social Media and at the Utah Prevention Day with the Salt Lake Bees event in May.
Media Campaign with KUTV Channel 2
ResilientYOU’s media partner KUTV Channel 2 helps support Resilient Utah Month by launching a promotional campaign for the entire month of May. The campaign includes a Resilient Utah Month Promo Spot that airs on KUTV, KMYU and KJZZ and Fresh Living Promotion Appearances and mentions throughout the month of May on KUTV’s lifestyle show.
Parent Guide
ResilientYOU sends an annual digital guide to Parents of elementary students throughout the state. This special correspondence is sent through various education networks to school administration with the direction to forward to parents. The message contains special links to the Governor’s Declaration, in addition to resilience building articles, music and resources for parents.
