Governor Spencer Cox has declared May 2022 as “Resilient Utah Month”
During the month, parents will be provided with ways they can generate more resiliency in their families and schools will be honored for their outstanding efforts during the year to build resilience in their students. This will be accomplished through:

Dissemination of Governor’s Declaration
Critical messages sent to Utah parents state-wide
Working with principals across the state to celebrate resiliency
Debut a Tribute Video in honor of our Education Heroes
Premier release of the song, “Resilient” written by Steve James, arranged by Kurt Bestor
Introduction of the “Wash My Hands Challenge”, encouraging the public to create fun videos using the new song.
Media Campaign with KUTV
A month-long celebration of recognizing our own resilience during these challenging times!
